The most important thing, I believe, is getting kids ready to be competitive high school wrestlers (Folkstlye). As I stated earlier, I am probably not helping my son progress in wrestling by not having him wrestle Freestyle/Greco during the summer. I still think that he will do well in high school, and that is our goal. These guys that wrestle in college, especially D1, they are a very special breed. I watched the NCAA Tournament finals when I got home yesterday (WOW!!!!!). After next weekend, my son will move on to Jr High track, soccer and baseball. He might go to a wrestling camp this summer, but other than that, wrestling begins again next fall.
