I think the reason that some of the names on the list above might be missing from the NJCAA list that you have sited is that all the junior colleges are possibly not current with their signings that they are providing the NJCAA. I looked over the NJCAA list and only three Kansas wrestlers are listed:

I am pretty sure that more than just these three Kansas wrestlers have signed with junior colleges. The names that I have listed above as wrestling next year at junior colleges have been either posted on this topic or I have received private messages on the signings from credible sources. I do want to only be listing correct committments so if someone knows of a person that I have listed incorrectly please let me know what needs to be corrected. Thank you.

I have been informed that it was reported in the Kansas City Star Olathe section that David Lalo of Olathe East will be wrestling at Harvard University next year. Congratulations to future Ivy League wrestler David Lalo and best of luck in school and on the mat. And that was sure a big victory that you had for Kansas at the Metro Classic this year!

Ringgold has already been at Neosho for a year. He was class of 2008.

I have been notified by his high school coach that Bryce Manker who wrestled 189 for Washburn Rural is going to be wrestling for Baker University next year. Congratulations to Bryce Manker. Bryce will be joining his high school teammate Dylan Pryor in wrestling for the Wildcats next year. I have updated the above list for this signing.

Thanks for starting this topic and for the timely updates. It is great to see where our Kansas grads will be wrestling next year. I look forward to following and hopefully seeing many of our college wrestlers in action.

Thanks Lou Ann. We have to give the credit to Scott Bockover for originally starting the topic. I am the one updating the consolidated list for the updates on the wrestlers. I hope everyone is enjoying seeing the updates. I have enjoyed hearing about the new signings over the last few weeks as they have been reported on here or in private messages to me.

2008 grad Ryan Swatzel from P-Burg did not wrestle last year is going to Pratt CC next year.

2009 Burlington Grad Jordan Kopfman will sign with Pratt CC on Monday afternoon.

Congratulations to Ryan Swatzel 2008 graduate from Phillipsburg on deciding to wrestle at Pratt CC next year. I am not going to include him on the list that I am updating on 2009 graduates who are planning to continue wrestling in college next year but this is great news that Ryan has decided to get back into wrestling after taking one year off. Best of luck Ryan in your college wrestling career at Pratt and then at another school after your junior college years.
