I still need 2 guys at 108, & 1 guy at 174 for Park Hill Duals - then Kansas will have 3 teams represented. This is cadets and juniors combined. We have a red & blue team.
Call Sean McCarthy - (913) 579-1835 or e-mail smokeycabin@hotmail.com - I'll have the list with me today.
I need the following information if someone is interested:
Name, Grade in school this year, weight, and USA Card number.

I just got a message from Elam this morning, but don't have the rosters yet. Victory does not have a team coming as they had skin issues in their room. As of now, Park Hill, Spartan (Francis Howell and others), Neosho (SW Missouri), Kansas Blue, Kansas Red and my Renegades. We get 5 duals in a RR. If I get details, I will post them.

Just to clarify... Victory does not have SKIN ISSUES. One kid came up with something following a tournament... it has not cleared yet. We have multiple other kids out of town this weekend and it just wasn't working out to put a team together.

Thanks Randy. I was told that you guys had skin issue(s). We will miss you guys this year! (Are you sure it's not because you graduated too many studs?)

Glad to know you are a doctor now Adam. As I said before, it is not worth losing a paid college education over.

Just heard from Chief. The Renegades lost to Park Hill in finals 35 - 31. Too bad, especially how Chief's team gave up 2 open weights. Kansas, when we are going head to head in duals like this, no excuse to give up those open weights.

Your opinion "no excuses". No excuses, but reasons-there's a difference!

I am sure proud of my Renegades! These guys battled all day and left it on the mat. Sure we were up against it with two open weights but at the end of the day that Kansas pride was clear to see!

Your opinion "no excuses". No excuses, but reasons-there's a difference! Yep my opinion, with state pride on the line, no reason we shouldn't be able to fill every spot on a roster. I could say a lot more here, but one of my desires is to see more state pride. It is one of the beautiful things about the dual format, it ceases to be an indivdual sport, it is a team sport where every member of the team depends on every other member. Congrats to all of the wrestlers who wrestled today, especially those who wrestled for their teams, win or loose, you contributed to your teams pride. Way to go!

Eric (Chief Renegade):
Thanks for all your hard work in putting the team together and arranging for such good coaches in Eric and Zach. You did a very good job and it was a great experience for the kids who all did some good wrestling today. Congratulations to all the participants.

I am very proud of all the 8th and 9th graders who gave it all they had today, they will be a force in high school in the next few years. Congradulations to all Kansas wrestlers at the dual today
