I look back and we had an awesome weekend. We had some missed calls and even some lucky breaks. Our team took more qualifiers than ever (15)and placed 11, with 6 being in the finals. This was big for us. My son Jarrett had to wrestle Jessie Strawn [again ], and this was his last time at Kids but we had a great match and even though he is second, again. He is still a great wrestler and a great kid, and will be a great coach next year for the little guys. My other son Jordan, placed for the first time ever. More than all that we had a wonderful time seeing everyone and watching all the great matches and even got to share some love with all the wrestling family during "Tyler's Time". I also want to thank Mike Furches from Derby and Cindy Page from our club for all their efforts. They were outstanding. Cindy has so many t-shirts from clubs, the Tyler quilt just keeps growing...just like our wrestling family. Hope everyone made it home safely with or without a plaque. I hope you are all champions at heart.
