Cadet 215 Finals (Bout 1527 M 7) - Leo Beck (Kansas) vs. Edward Isola (Florida)
Cadet 215 Finals (Bout 1528 M 5) - Joe Scanlan (Iowa) vs. Eric Mason (Kansas)

Both of these bouts will he contested at the same time so I will do my best to give them there due!

Leo Beck wrestled extremely will and would have my vote for the most improved wrestler from last years Fargo trip! He won 7th place with a 3-0 and 6-0. Leo Beck is an All-American!

Eric Mason wrestled a smart match. He controlled the ties and his gut defense was up to the task! Eric Mason finishes 5th and is an All-American!!!

Zach Reeb used a 2-point gut to win the first period 2-1.

A one-point takedown gave Reeb the early but the 30 second segment was approaching the opponent got 1. Reeb loses the period, 1-1.

In the third Reeb is victimized by a 3+1 toss but an infraction by the opponent gave Reeb 1. Zach gains 1 on an arm spin as the match moves to the 30 second segment. But Reeb can't gain a score.

Zach Reeb had a GREAT tournament! Two close losses... Greco is definitely his strength. He was also a huge help to the dual team in OKC. Well done!

Kyle Detmer appeared to be in complete control of his next bout after winning frame one, 7-0. But a head-and-arm worth 3+1 had Kyle fighting off his back. That tied the period score at 4's. Detmer had to defend which he did and closed it out with a single point takedown.

Jeff Vesta has Tyler Cox. Cox wins the first frame 2-3. Vesta is hanging tough!

In the seconds frame, Vesta gains two and two more ... he was on his way to another when he got trapped on his back ... 1.30 had run off the clock ... there was a big pow wow at the table ... the result, 6-3 Vesta going into the last 30 seconds ... Vesta wins the period, 6-4.

Vesta is working his 2-on-1 ... Cox gains 3 ... and then 2 more ... Vesta works for the reversal and lifts, almost exposing Cox but the period ends up 1-5.

Kyle Detmer gave it a good go but Gutches was just too solid with his defense. Kyle loses, 0-6 and 0-1.
