Chase Sanchez coming off his All-American status in Greco, opened with a dominating win in Freestyle. The scores, 9-1 and 7-0. He used a couple of takedowns with exposure, a few trapped arms, and a pair of bow-and-arrows for the win!

Sam Son won 3-1 and 4-0. In the first period, Sam's opponent had tied the match with a takedown with about 25 seconds left. Son had great defense but when he looked at the clock and realized there were 8 seconds to go in the period, he managed a 2-point reversal!
