So after week one, we currently have 5 tournaments and 15 duals that have failed to report their results. I am trying to understand why teams seem uninterested in promoting their wrestlers. It must be one of three things.

1. They have no computer access.
2. They don't want their opponents to see their line-up.
3. They are apathetic toward the sport.

This web site is one of the best state wrestling sites in the nation. Missouri only has four tournaments that have reported. If you are too distracted to send your results to Brett Kramer, please give them to someone who has the time!

I am all about promoting my team and totally agree... However, I also can understand how it might get overwhelming a bit. Along with planning practice, running practice, checking grades and weekly eligibility, putting together line-ups, weigh ins, extra work-outs, and actually coaching in competitions.....

The Coaches of the GWAL (City League) are required to report our scores to the Wichita Eagle/Varsitykansas.com and KWCH/catchitkansas.com. We report Varsity competition to Varsity Kansas and Varsity/JV competition to catchitkansas. I don't know the policies of other leagues but it is a time consuming process.

Not to mention reporting to our school papers as well.

Just something to think about when calling out coaches saying they are not promoting their teams. You know I love ya chief!!! Not too mention, most of us also have to keep Momma at home happy or nobody is happy!!!!

I hear you Mike. That woke me up this morning at 5. I understand the coaches have a full plate. The solution is to delegate the duty to an assistant or parent.

I see that Kaw Valley results are coming soon. Don't get me wrong. The vast majority of our tournaments are great at posting results. I can't think of a state wrestling web site that is better at it than ours. Brett Kramer is a champion in my book!

Anyone with anything on the Flinthills results, put them on here or something. I will be at most of the tournaments Lyons attends and start keeping track. At least send them to the Cheif or Kramer.

Saturday I was not there I was at the my last Middle School Tournament for the year. As soon as I get my hands on the results they will get posted.
