Talking smack even on Christmas. Dean have you ever been to the Rossville tournament? It's pretty far from a play day. Block wrestling should be the way all local tournaments are done. Show up get mat time & go home. No stress about weight. Extra pie tonight at dinner. Outstanding. Now, back to digging out. Anyone traveling please be safe.

I like this format like the good ol days during freestyle wrestling. Just show up and wrestle. Kids get to wrestle plenty of matches.

Travis, because of numbers I am going to try to do more 5-6 man round robins. More mat time for all that show up.

I completely agree gives a great chance to wrestle kids you don't usually see. Heavier, stronger, faster more technical or less so? A great change. If we don't like it. It maybe a good oppertunity to catch up laundry and dishes.

How are the roads - specifically HWY 24 - KDOT says drifting. 4WD is down and wondering if it can be done in the car.

i quit worrying about weight last night. after 2 full orders of chicken fajitas, and all the christmas candy i could eat, i put down a 6er. then today omg, just wondering how the 300+bracket looks. i mean i could crap out about 10lbs, but would rather not worry about it. maybe i could send dean around and ask for $$$ to keep me from putting on a singlet, he could use the $$$ to buy a whole box full of medals. when did this become more about medals and less about black eyes and bloody noses? that's the battle scars we look for at practice on mondays. merry christmas, good luck, and please be careful.

Mike, Thanks for running a good tournament. It was a great experience for my new wrestler. We are already looking forward to next year.
