Gregg does the rankings for 5A- seems to understate his own teams.

Brandon Jobe, Bonner Springs head coach, is the 5A ranker. They are cleared through Coach Charbonneau, the Class 5A rep.

At 130, Lane Greenlee of Garden City is a good one.

I assure you, it does not matter what part of the state I live in. I will do the rankings to the best of my ability, and will not favor someone because of what part of the state they live in.

What is your point? Coach Charboneau is the 5A rep. Originally, Greg Buckbee "wanted" to do the 5A rankings again. That fell through. The KWCA president, Travis Keal attempted to do the 5A rankings and solicited anyone that would assume that duty. Thankfully, Coach Jobe agreed to spend the time as a service to KWCA. Instead of asking why a KC area guy is the 5A ranker, you should just say thank you and move on.

Coach Jobe is a class act Coach and Human being. He has represented our state well at the high school and college level. Even though I could care less who is ranked in 5A..... Thanks Coach Jobe for taking the time to do this daunting duty. Don't take it personally when people have a problem with rankings... you will never be able to please 100% of the people. The only rankings that matter are the rankings that come out on the evening of February 27th!

Dealing showing 6... you have 12.... Hit or stay? smile

fyi, if you don't want someone questioning your rankings, you shouldn't question their card playing, as wrong as it may be. remember chief, we need hard evidence to support our arguments, not percentages and probabilities. i play "dumber" the more the guy next to me talks.

Is that why you are alone at the table?

alone or with four others i still win chief. i usually have someone sit next to me and start telling me how they would do this and you should do that. four hands later their $100 bill belongs to the house. sorry, it was really just a joke, but as usual, true to form, most everyone on this board takes themselves way too seriously. keep up the good work on the rankings, and let me play my own hand. thanks.

Totally joking or way too serious? Just like basic advice in wrestling. Belly down instead of belly up, you are kidding yourself if you expect to win at bjack by hitting 12's against a 6. Let me guess, you also stay on 14 vs. a face (unless you have a hunch), you stay on a pair of nines against a nine, you split 4's and never 8's, you stay on a soft 17 and occasionally split 10's. SP, you showed your hand brother. Stick to wrestling.

Perez should be ranked in all-class and 4A both. He beat Mulligan twice last year at regionals (by fall and 11-3) and made it to the same spot on the state bracket as Mulligan. At state, Mulligan lost to Kriss of Colby to be eliminated while Perez lost to Hood to be eliminated. Not sure if those two have met this year or not, but that is what I know from last year.
