Rules/Format: 1st year wrestlers ONLY!! We will check USAW cards!
Kansas High School Rules with Kansas Kids modifications.
Must be a resident of the State of Kansas
Age is as of September 1, 2009 ALL WRESTLERS must have a current USAW card.

Age Groups are as follows: 6 and under, 7 & 8, 9 & 10, 11 & 12.
(there is no 14U novice group)

We will use up to 64 man brackets (no splitting of brackets)

We will combine weights as necessary for bracketing.

Brackets will be random draw, with consideration of splitting up team members.

Coaches and wrestlers at matside ONLY!

Weigh-in: Sunday, February 8th – 6 AM – 7:30 AM – ALL Wrestlers
Weigh-ins will be held in the Wrestling Room (SE entrance)
Wrestlers MUST make weight at which they are entered; no weight allowance will
be given. We will NOT make changes if a child does not make weight!!!

Coaches Meeting: 8:45 am in the Wrestling Room

Wrestling Begins: 9:00 am All Ages

Awards: Custom Medals will be awarded to the top 6 wrestlers in each weight bracket.

Wall Brackets will be awarded to the Champion of each weight bracket

Will include Round Robin, 8 man, 16 man, 32 man and 64 man brackets.

Age/Weights: Scales will be digital. WE WILL NOT MAKE CHANGES TO BRACKETS IF
THE WRESTLER DOES NOT MAKE WEIGHT!!!

All Spectators and Contestants are requested to observe and obey the rules of the Derby High School.
NO SMOKING on school property, and NO food or drinks allowed in the gyms.
