In Wisconsin:

They have regional, sectional, state.

They keep team score at regionals because your WHOLE team is there. At sectionals and state they do NOT keep team scores because your whole team is no longer intact.

The teams that win the regionals (there are 8 in each of the three classifications) attend a dual state the weekend after individual state. It is a eight team bracket to determine the best TEAM in the state. One for each of their three classifications. It is very popular.
