plott beat singular at 125 6 to 0 at newton You have to tell all the truth and nothing but the truth! And the rest of the truth...both very good kids. Plot also beat Singular at Beloit 7-1. Just proves it's hard to be a good kid every time. So little seperates the good ones...a takedown scored or missed changes a match.

I do appreciate info, but it needs to be correct. Oliver received an injury default from Kieswetter.
Just to clarify - Oliver was beating Kieswetter 3-0 when the injury happened. Oliver scored a takedown and an escape and was in the process of taking Kieswetter down again when the injury happened.

What if I add Marlatt to the list? Where would you put Bush then? We've been here before.
Bush beat Delp 8-5. Delp pinned Marlatt. Marlatt pinned Bush.
All in the same tournament. Mason has criteria too.
Ok and Bush has a win over Marlatt, so of these 4 Bush is the only one with a win over all 3 others. according to your rankings we are suppose to believe that Delp is a better wrestler than Bush even tho he has never beaten him. Regardless of who else you throw in, head to head Bush 2 Delp 0, and by the way I believe Marlatt should be on there before the other 3. I am just trying to understand, you preach all the time "CRITERIA CRITERIA" and I just don't get how head to head, 0-2 beats out 2-0

PC,
1. Straight up, Marlatt is over Bush.
2. Marlatt is not on the list.
3. That's why Bush is not on the list.
4. Jake Carroll pinned Bush last week.
5. Jake Carroll is not on the list.
In a seeding meeting, at best they would draw numbers for Delp, Marlatt and Bush. Jake Carroll would probably get the seed above all of them, however he needs a few more matches to convince me.
The good thing is, Regionals are here! A lot of answers coming up tomorrow.

so basically what your saying is head to head matches mean nothing, its all about common opponents? I grew up thinking that when there is a tie the first tie breaker is head to head, THEN common opponents, if Bush and Delp were 1-1 against each other than I could see moving to common opponents. I'm not trying to change your rankings, just trying to understand them. BTW nice touch of class with the late change to the 6A rankings.

How was correcting the fact that Carroll pinned Bush, a touch of class?

just wondering about the 112 rankings. there is alot of great wrestlers but how does ruiz go from #1 to #8? second question is about zac dremel he has beat many good wrestlers including trevor boyer, tommy williams, and isaac ruiz and he is now completely out of the rankings?? and what about harlson. just want some clarification.

That answer is a long one.
Part of it is:
1. Miller - Wins over Schumacher, and Boyer 2. Pursel - Wins over Boyer, Newport, Dremel, Williams 2x, Haralson 2x and Hood. Losses to Kmiec, Boyer and Newport. 3. Boyer - Wins over Newport, Pursel, Haralson. Losses to Miller, Dremel and Pursel. 4. Newport - Wins over Pursel, Hood and Haralson. Losses to Boyer and Pursel 5. Hood - Wins over Williams, Dremel and Losses to Pursel, Newport. 6. Schumacher - Win over Prescott. Loss to Miller. 7. Williams - Win over Haralson and Ruiz. Loss to Pursel, Dremel and Hood 8. Ruiz - Losses to Dremel and Williams. 9. Reed - Only 2 losses to a TX guy and Haralson. Beat Prescott. 10. Prescott - Win over Haralson.
Haralson - 1-4 vs. top ten - 9 losses. Pinned Dremel. Dremel - 3-3 vs. top ten. Wins over Boyer, Williams and Ruiz. Losses to Haralson, Pursel, Hood.

You could throw all those guys in a bracket and wrestle it ten times and you would have ten different outcomes, that is how close it is!!

The only thing about that is I believe Miller, and Schumacher would be the only close match. Realistically Miller is 1 followed by Schumacher at a close 2. If you put all of them in a bracket you would still have them two at 1 and 2. Unless the KSHAA did the bracket then of course they would be on the same side of the bracket.

Todd Curtis? 1- 2 with Gaskill. Both losses were close. But Todds win was big at the dual. Not that Todd Cares! Just interesting.

Wrestling67-At 112 Miller only beat Prescott 1-0 this year. That is a pretty close match. When #1 beats #10 1-0, I think that indicates what Kevin Kriss said that on any given day this group can all beat each other. Or you could say why is Prescott not #3, but he also lost to Ruiz, who lost to Williams, who lost to Hood, who lost to Pursel, who lost to Newport, who lost to Boyer. See the quandry.
Good luck to all of them at state this weekend. They are all studs!!!

Where is Laib at 152. He finished ahead of Seibel at Silver Lake. What's the criteria for leaving him out of the top 10?

152lbs. may be one of the deepest weights in the state. Lots of quality wrestlers that are close. I know there are several wrestlers that don't make the top ten list, but they will give anyone on the top ten list a run for there money. Charland, Blair, Laib, etc.

I wish Josh could wrestle Picking just to prove how wrong you are, but at least he'll get Son. But just like I said you have something against Rodriguez cause you just kept moving him down no matter what he done and he did nothing but win except against Dozier and Blair this last weekend. And everyone lost to Blair alot worse then Josh at 152...
