I was there and the reason why the coach ran onto the mat was because Hiller had blacked out. Seeing that Hiller was blacked out, the second ref had already started to stop the match before Mesa was on the mat. In my mind it was a potentially dangerous situation and Mesa acted in the best interests of his wrestler.
If the 2nd ref had already started to stop the match before Mesa was on the mat, how is it that Mesa beat the ref to it and pushed Woofter out of the way?
I agree that the safety of the wrestlers should be the primary focus, but if the wrestler was actually unconscious, should he be allowed for his own safety to continue?
