How do the KSHSAA folks determine seeds for the state tourney? The 5A 119 bracket is ridiculously lopsided. The bottom half contains Blaine Smith (31-3), Aaron Seybold (27-3), Caleb Seaton (40-2) and Tyler Dryden (39-4). Each has a far better record than anyone in the top half, and they are 1,2,3 and 5 in the 5A rankings. There are some good wrestlers in the top half to be sure (Colby Watters at 15-7), but nobody with fewer than 7 losses.

Whoever advances to the final out of the bottom half will definitely earn it.
