Post them here.....
The kids and I will be headed back to the Cozy Inn which we tried for the first time last year in Salina. I'm not that much of a fan of sliders but the kids loved them which is completely out of the norm for them.

I know I'll get reamed for this but I didn't care for the Taco Shop that much. Maybe I didn't try the right things.

If you go to cozys in salina please stay on the north side of the gym after returning. I would be lucky not to smell you sitting at the top of the South side.

I know I'll get reamed for this but I didn't care for the Taco Shop that much. Maybe I didn't try the right things. I agree their food is pretty average for the most part, just a popular spot to go to and very close to GMC. I have never understood everyone's infatuation with that place.

pudgey905: Don't tell doug747: that. He eats there every other day. Of course, he eats his own cooking so that should tell you something. haha

martinelli's would be my personal favorite in salina. but the hotel kitchen in the ramada with the bar usually actracts the wrestling kansas alumni. you can usually find 10-12 familiar kansas wrestlers drinking and having a good time in there at 4a salina

Ok I am sorry but there is only one place to eat at Hays and that is the Taco Shop, especially if you went to school at Hays or wrestled for the Tigers. I make every single kid go eat there and some love it and some hate it but it is a tradition. What other Hays establishment has a song that sticks in your head as well..."Come on down to the Taco Shop, you never had it you never had it, you never had it so Good!"
My vote is for Taco Shop, I even have to take another cooler to bring back fresca, chips, and cheese for my pregnant wife who told me not to come home if I forget. This is the first year she is not coming out to Hays and I better pay attention this one time during wrestling season.

I am sorry, but the Taco Shop in Hays is not in the same league as the Taco Shops in WIchita. Money wise and taste wise, the Wichita 'shops win hands down.
If you guys didn't know, Dan Gentzler took over the job of cleaning up the Taco Tico restaurants. Believe it or not, I think he must be doing some good. The place was clean the other day AND they thanked me for coming in!! I will start going back now!! You guys should to, Dan would appreciate it!
