I'm going to have to agree with you although I am pulling for Biddle! Also going to put my money on McMichael over Floyd at 140 lbs! You're willing to put money on that?!?!?! I would like some of that action.

I got Schmidtberger pulling the upset in semi's and taking a win in the finals at 130 in 4A. Wouldn't say that is a dark horse but he has a tough road and I'm sure most have their $$ on Moeder. I'll put my money on Moeder anyday no matter where you put him in the bracket. In my opinion he has seen a lot tougher competition than most of his opponents. I do not think Schmidtberger is up to par, but we will see.

Still don't know if picking anyone over Moeder would be logical. It is to my knowledge that Johnson and Moeder have wrestled twice this year. Correct me if I am wrong but I think the first match Moeder pinned Johnson and the second Match was 7-3. Johnson is surely getting closer but I am very doubtful he will beat him.

Mel As the head of the Dalton Miller hype machine, I figured you wouldnt be a big fan of all the people picking Haralson to win it. Just look on the bright side, this should give him some extra motivation to win it all!
The will to win is important, but the will to prepare is vital.

No offense was ever intended to Dalton Miller. His record, his scholarship, speaks for itself. This was meant as a fun thread to predict the unlikely, or at least the less likely if you will. I picked Haralson in an upset. Is it possible? I believe it is. Would I bet any money on it...absolutely not!
Take your own advice.

A pin is still a pin. It seems to me the only way Johnson will be able to beat him is to take him down and score points that way. Great thing about state is anything can happen and I'm sure this match will be one of the most anticipated.

Moeder and Johnson both have to get there before even worrying about that matchup. I'm sure Schmidtberger or Kolterman have plans to make the finals on Moeders side, and I doubt LavVorn is conceding his chance at the finals on the otherside either!

Chief you seem to have had a little problem with VC all year. Blair wins 4A 152 going away.

Over the course of reading lots of these threads, Cade seems to be accumulating lots of bulletin board material.
As the Hulk says:
"Don't make me angry, you wouldn't like me when I'm angry"
Seriously, Cade is a great kid, and an intense competitor. My advice would be for everyone to just show up and wrestle, rather than playing it out here on the forum.

I got Scanlon over Sanchez in the Finals at 145. I also believe Demerest could win it all

or what do you think has been some of the crazyest stuff that has happened at state?
one thing that comes to my mind is #1 ranked senior (and stud) Garret Harding loosing FIRST round to freshman levi sides ..
state is ALWAYS crazy and exciting! first time in about 6 or 7 years that I'm going to miss it due to work! :-(
Hey Butt-Head what did people do before they invented TV? Don't be stupid Beavis there's always been TV, there's just more channels now. Oh yeah, heh heh hehe... progress is cool. Heh hehe heh

Nice post chief i think he can do it too.
I also think Morgan from 4a Abilene Fr 103 has a good shot at winning it.
4a race will be very close I think Abilene and Clay Center will both have 3 or 4 champs it is going to come down to the Back side Placers to determine a team champ I know Jace Roy major decisioned him at Baldwin, i doubt he would win it

I got Soph. Justin McPhail 35-5 of Liberal winning it. There's a "dark horse" for you. After first watching Justin win Newton, and then again this weekend lose to Truman at regionals 1-0 in an incredible match, I have to say this isn't that far out of the realm of possibilities. I didn't think there was anyone that could hang with Truman, I was wrong.
