No....I don't think there are any free rides. Even the kids with losing records in 5A and 6A managed to win some matches. 6A losing record kids had a record of 6-47 in their matches wrestled at state. And there was a kid at 119 who went 3-3 and placed 6th. In 5A, the kids with losing records were 15-88 in their state matches this year. I also noticed that Cole Luttig from McPherson had a losing record, but gave the state champion in his weight (Charbonneau) his closest match of the tournament - a 3 point match in the first round. Is it possible the Wichita Heights kid at 119, entered the tournament with that losing record due to strength of schedule? Valley Center Duals, Bishop Carroll Inv., Derby Inv., Newton Inv., Junction City Inv. before entering post season? I am hoping that he started off rough because he was young and inexperienced and got better as the season progressed and peaked in February? Just a thought from his coach

That kid at 119 wrestles for Heights who has an extremely tough schedule. Additionally that kid would have been considered green so he would have had a high growth curve, higher than most. The kid at regionals was not the same kid that notched those losses throughout the year. And that kid beat out a state medalist so he sure didn't get no free pass or even an easy pass. I spoke for you and Newton on that one Church in the post above on March 1.

you already have that tattoo poser! btw did you ever get that gas leak fixed. how many wins did you have at state lucas? Nice post man shows your age. I had 5 wins and one loss at state 4 of the 5 were pins took 3rd. I was on a back to back state championship team, and my college team won nationals. If that didnt help you size me up enough I am 6'2'315lb, I like long walks on the beach, pizza hut, and playing in the park. I would love to meet you and beeson in an old timers tourny this summer, to settle this issue you guys have with me old timer rules so leave your brass knuckles at home. talk about showing your age, sorry bud, but you have shown your intelligence on here from your first post. i never said i had an issue with anything. you have the problem, you can dish it out, BUT CAN'T TAKE IT. i call people like you bullies, i don't have the wrestling creds that you do, i chose to concentrate on football instead. we were 5a state champs, my junior year. we never lost before sub-state, and our only losses were to eventual state champs. my teammate was 5x kids hwt champ, and 2x hs champ, never beat him in a match, but had some doozies. fights as well as wrestling matches. he never beat me in a fight by the way. your size don't scare me i'm 6'3' and 325. i hike 3miles a day, prefer dominos, and like to play at the lake. none of that really matters to me though, i just like to give people crap. sorry you have a problem when i do, you're going to have to figure out how to deal with it. i don't do old timers tourneys, but don't have a problem meeting you, but trust me whether we become friends or enemies i will still give you a hard time. so for now get over yourself. and as the old saying goes if you can't take it don't dish it, big boy. in other words lighten up.

Headup Did I call you any names? was I even talking to you at all, Who the hell are you, You hide behind a fake name and talk about your high school boyfriend. Nice by the way bringing up someone else's credentials in a pissing match (my best friend can beat up your best friend) how old are we, Maybe you forgot because they took it down but you called me a poser, Whos the child? You want to talk about intelligence my first post was 4 years before yours, how could you have read it? I too have a Football State Championship 1997 Salina Central 5a we only lost once to Manhattan. You have two ears and one mouth use them proportionately.

i don't even know beeson, i just think you fail to make much sense, with your posts. you just seem to think you have it all figured out, and made a statement about a tattoo, mullets, kids with less than .500 records, people who don't like long hair, coaches who have a "bad" coaching style, my registered date with my new name, and yet you seem so innocent. i teased you about a tattoo, and your obsession with ark city, and you lose your mind. come on man, learn to take it the same way you give it. you have been questioning credentials on these threads for weeks, calling out big cities, big schools, strength of schedule, etc. and when someone does the same to you, you seem hurt. sorry i thought you were as big shouldered as bellied, obviously i was wrong. i'm glad you were a state champ too. i really am. but i feel you have some problems being able to handle any criticism, i suggest you learn to deal, before you stress out too much.
