I guess that I will be the one to ask this question.... How will this tournament be seeded using track wrestling?????? There used to be a seeding meeting and now there is not and we simply send in letters to tell about our kids. Well I for one do not want 1 and 2 meeting first round, so could you please let us know how seeding will be done if at all.... By the way not5 every kid in the state is a AAA wrestler.lol
thanks MIke Pirl

There will be a seeding meeting.
We are going to have it after the entry deadline and before the tournament.
We will seed on Thursday evening.

How will they do coaches bands or whatever? The flyer says only coaches and wrestlers on the floor, will there be a limit to the number of coaches per club/per wrestler?

I expect most entries to be entered by clubs on Tuesday evening.
We will band coaches.
There is not a limit to coach bands...as long as you have a current usa coach card.
We are not charging for coach bands...

Scott, Normally we have a seeding meeting the Sunday before the tournament and the clubs that help us with the tournament help us with seeding.
Because we are utilizing TrackWrestling the deadline is later than it used to be.
We will have a seeding meeting on Thursday evening.
We do have a limited ammount of space to work with.
We will use a video projector and we will project each and every bracket up on a screen one bracket at a time and based upon the information entered we will do our best job to seed the wrestlers accordingly.
Obviously the more people that show up, the longer the process will take.
A large majority of these clubs that help us with seeding wrestle most of the big tournaments (USJOC, Cliff Keen Kick Off, and Tulsa Nationals)and are very familiar with the "Top" wrestlers.
We have asked coaches to give us the best "Rating" of their wrestlers that they can. Based upon the input that we received, we will seed the top 4 to 8 wrestlers and TrackWrestling will allocate the remaining wrestlers within the brackets.
Seeding is not a perfect science and we are very dependent on the clubs to be as honest as possible with the info they give us.
At the end of the day our goal is to keep the top 4 to 8 wrestlers away from each other in the early rounds. Not to argue about who number one and number two wrestlers are.
I hope I have done a good job of answering your questions and I hope that you feel comfortable about our process.
Thank you and I hope to see you this weekend.

Yes thank you. Just wanted to make sure if we were supposed to be there then we would and if not then we wont. Thank you and we will see you all saturday. Good luck to all participants for this tournament. Hope this Hartman Arena does the job and should be exciting for the kids to prepare for the next 3 weeks to get to state.

I say that and then go to T.W. and it still allows you to register someone even though the deadline has passed.

If you go to preregister, and look at the deadlines next to the matrix link this is what it will tell you!

i see that there are 3 70lbers and 3 67 lbers in the 6U division,, so it is safe to assume that they will be combining those 2 weight classes? if not,, how would they go about doing finals for round robins?

Thats what it says, although I doubt they are available to view until after the seeding meeting which takes place tomorrow at 7:00 PM, but I could be wrong.

One more question. It says to send a check to a certain address and on the flyer the payment must be received by tomorrow. Is there another way to pay for the tournament(Paypal or other). What about those that register tonight? How are they going to have the payment to wichita by tomorrow, especially if they live a long ways away.
