Isaac Dulgarian is an 8th grader, but from what ive heard he is planning on wrestling either 119 or 125 next year. He is planning on wrestling at Blair Academy.

Will Geary from Topeka High School beat Aaron Rafalko from Junction City at League and Regionals last year and lost to Travis Anderson from Derby 3-2 in sudden death at state last year.

Can you imagine if Tylor Woodruff wrestled 215...
man there would be some awesome matches there!
He is such a small 285 pounder that does really well
I would think that would be a much better weight for him...

Tylor wrestled several matches last year at 215; I would not be surprised to see some again this year. But in the end, you just have to do what's best for the team to position them for State.

Curious about Colt Skillman? Saw he got 2nd at a tough 103 bracket at Fall Brawl. Don't know the kid but just curious where he stands.

I saw him at the Fall Brawl and was impressed. I actually had him at 112, but am considering adding him to the top 10 at 103 now. I am expecting Skillman and Michael Vander Linden to have great senior years at Burlington.

With the missouri wrestlers being all-americans and some of the top in the nation, I don't see why not. I just can't see some of our all class KS boys competing at that level in that bracket. Of course it's still pre-season, but those MO boys lower then Skillman in his bracket are year round wrestlers who could all be state champs. Just my opinion.

Certainly Daniel Lewis and Teaney are accomplished at the national level. Lewis, who beat Colt 12-0, would be ranked #1 AC 103. Jeffrey, Erneste, Merideth and Nelson are also very tough. I know that unranked Reese Cokeley beat Nelson 9-7 at the East KS open last Feb. Meredith was a 7th place Cadet GR AA at Fargo.

With Colt being a senior at 103, he should and will be ranked.

I see only one Bean ranked Chief, and I have been trying to google any names I didn't recognize. Is this the same Bean that only went 1-2 in Oklahoma last year at a weight or 2 lighter? Furthermore, if it is, is older brother joining him at KMC, because if he is...there is your new 1 or 2 at 215.

He is no longer at Augusta.

Luke was 26-3 at 189 last year going into state in Oklahoma. Blake was a state runner-up at 215 and has not yet been declared eligible.

Looking at 130lbs, that is going to be brutal at the Newton tourney!

Tyler has turned into an exceptionally solid wrestler. He was always technically and tactically proficient on the mat, but since he started to turn into a young man, he has the physical stature and the aggressiveness to take him to an even higher level. I wouldn't bet against him too many times.
