Why dont we make it a rule you have to reveal your name to post on the forum?? These Nameless mudslingers are starting to wear me out.Asking people to be honorable & leave there name does not work with spineless cowards. The rules need to be changed then all the people that like to hide will quit posting. That will improve this forum. Whats the reason we dont require a name?????

Whats the reason we dont require a name????? Because then you wouldn't have a forum. Newspapers used to require all letters to the editor be signed. If you've noticed they have went to both voice messages and blog posts which have no such requirements. The reason, to stimulate readership and use.

Sounds like we are re-visiting the Wizard of Oz....the great Oz has all the answers behind the screen.
Stimulation?? Yes, stimulation of ignorance...just read the blog posts and voice messages.
So to all you wizards behind the screen...keep sharing your great wisdom. Don't kid yourself....Dorthy understands, whoops, if I remember correctly Toto (yes the dog) understood first!!

I have no problem with nameless posting to stimulate readership and use. I do have a problem with someone calling out a club, coach, or wrestler and not posting their name. You can leave a positive or negative post without posting your name. But if you call out someone BY NAME you should LEAVE YOUR NAME.

Stimulation?? Yes, stimulation of ignorance...just read the blog posts and voice messages. How do the ignorant get educated if there is no forum? There will always be trolls, named or unnamed, you just have to have the ability not to allow them to drag you down to their level.

I have no problem leaving my name, but I also have no problem with people who don't. Sometimes it's not a great idea to give out personal information on a public message board. I can think of at least 2 instances (not involving myself, but people I know personally) where people have used that information with malicious intent. There's always an inherent risk when posting your contact information on a message board.
The fact that girls are forced to wrestle at state in the middle of the week is laughably sexist.

Agreed about malicious intent, as would anyone. We all need to be a little careful about that in today's environment.
The point is: Coming on this forum and spewing "malicious intent" and hiding behind the curtain like the wizard. I don't recall seeing someone with legitimate concern, question or looking to be educated being called out.
I believe that is the difference.

It is what it is and sometimes its for the best, but I also understand where others are coming from with calling clubs/people out namelessly.
Hey Butt-Head what did people do before they invented TV? Don't be stupid Beavis there's always been TV, there's just more channels now. Oh yeah, heh heh hehe... progress is cool. Heh hehe heh

I would bet that there are some kids on the forum using fake names. It would be a real good way to get dads and coaches riled up. I vote for a new forum where NO names are used. WOOOOO HOOOO crap would hit the fan. LOL

And another thing would be that the guy who dosn't leave his name might be from the same club as you. How would it look if you had two guys from the same club bickering about when results are poasted. The possibilities are endless.

beeson i dis-agree only because i think if you feel the need to call someone out or a club or team you need to do it face to face or on the telephone to that club not on the open forum. i have learned by my mistakes in doing that exact thing. so in the future if i have something specific to talk to a certain person or a club i will talk to them directly rather than the open forum to get something started. if you cant sign your name then maybe the best thing to say is say nothing at all. we want to know who you are and who to talk to when we see you at the tournaments. i might have a question i want to ask you face to face sporto but since i dont know who you are i cant.

Scott, I can agree with you on calling people out on this forum. It is not always the best idea or the most productive. For those that are going to do it, they should leave their name. There are several times I may not have reacted so hot headed if a name was left with a post. I unfortunately will probably continue to mouth off to nameless posters that leave rude comments for what I feel are productive clubs and individuals.
