You also have similar issues with the other age groups and HWT's. Lower weight wrestlers going up a weight group but still outside the weight allowance. If your going to wrestle 12U 240, you have to weight at least 215+lbs in order to be in that group. If you weigh less then you need to be in the 215lb group. Pretty simple, but there will be some that will want to wrestle up a weight group. Only time will tell if this enforced or not.

As BLT points out, if the weigh in's are done in a singlet only (no wearing shoes, sweats, etc..) and posting actual weight. You will be able to see wether or not the wrestler is eligible to be in that group or if they by criteria are to light to be in the group. In my view as it has in the past, you can't wrestle up in weight at state anymore than you can wrestle down in weight.
