No Lucas, you are the Joke and that is an asinine statement which proves that you are exactly that.

And you don't have to wait until next week Lucas to "prove your point" that kids with "bad records" make it to 5A and 6A state. That is common knowledge and is hashed out every year. We have already discussed this at nausea just as of late. But remember, they don't get there because the class is weak but because the regional is. If the regionals in 5A and 6A were balanced you would not see that.

You may respond Lucas if you want of course but I am planning to address your questions and comments on the Ark City Regional thread but later because I don't have time right now.

And those bad records never place so what does it matter? It's tougher to be a state qualifier in 4a I grant you that, but that is not the goal of the state series. But to be a state placer is pretty equal from 4a-6a. The goal of the state series is to find out who your top 6 placers are.

It happens in football every year that a lessor team makes the playoffs because of what conference they are in, while a tougher team stays home. At the end though the best usually make it to the end and that is the point of any year end tournament, not whining about some kid that got there that shouldn't.

And records alone don't tell the story. Our 103 has a losing record, by a decent margin. He is small for 103 and is getting better everyday, but has losing record none the less. He beat a 3a kid with a great record because that 3a kid wrestles a schedule much less challenging. But stat wise our 103 will get called out while the other young man with 20-10 record (or something like it) will get used to legitimize how tough it is to qualify...

Nothing against any kid. They are all trying their guts out to get better. The top 6 will place and that is all that matters.

I am just saying you can make the numbers say whatever you want.

Of course these are great comments and extremely accurate.

Great example as well with the 103 pounder and the 3A kid with the "crap" schedule. That is really what I was alluding to when Ricky and I were at it on the Ark City Regional thread.

I will concede that for the most part it is tougher to get to state in 4A, but you cannot make that a blanket statement though because that is not always the case. There are many times where there is a kid that could place in 4A but didn't even get to 5A or 6A state because he was in the wrong regional or the wrong weight.

You can definitely spin those numbers however you want to though Badbo, you are right about that.
