Iowa has had dual State for 25+ years and it has been pretty popular. Sectional team champions (in 1A and 2A) and runners-up have a four team Regional the Tuesday after Sectionals. The winning team advances to the State Duals. The first and second place team from each 3A District (since 3A doesn't have Sectionals) wrestle tonight, and the winner goes to State Duals.

Duals are this Saturday in Cedar Rapids (US Cellular Center). First round is at 10, semis at 2:30 and the finals and consolations at 6:30. It's a great show and a great way to finish the year. And what's interesting is that there have not been that many times over the years that the same team that wins the traditional tournament wins the duals.
