Are you sure you were at the same tournament I was at? I had five sons there yesterday and we had more scratches then we had matches. One of my son's didn't get to wrestling until after 2:00 PM because of all the scratches. I don't know who in their right mind would run a tournament that had 600 + people register then put 5 man round robins and 8 man brakets together and not fix the scratches before they start wrestling. One word would fix the whole problem TRACKWRESTLING. For those of you that have not been to a tournement now that the kinks are out of track you are missing out. Johnson County ran 950+ kids through with Novice and open brackets on the same day, and the only scratches were from injury or those that left early. After weighins you have to do something to fix those brackets that don't work. Which only take a few people a couple of minutes on a computer. My kids go to tournaments to wrestle not sit around all day then get their hands raised because the directors refuse to join the computer age. Ottawa has too good of people that work hard to let there pride, or ignorance of computerised brackting git in the way of what could have been a great day of wrestling.
