G'sMoM, Last year they divided us into Pools for Saturday. We wrestled 4 matches on Saturday to determine Sunday's bracket. Last year they had a Gold, Silver, and Bronze bracket on Sunday and placed each team according to their record on Saturday and overall points scored. Once you get to Sunday, the teams are placed in a bracket and you just wrestle it out like any other tourney. Each bracket on Sunday was an 8-man bracket, so the # of matches is determined by how you are doing, although after you lose your 2nd match, you still get another one to determine placing (5th, 7th). We went to Brute 2 yrs and then chose to go to Elementary Duals last year. In my opinion, Duals is by far the better option and your kid(s) will remember the experience for a long time. It also gives them a taste of the format that they will wrestle in High School and they make a ton of new friends that they will have throughout their wrestling career.
