NHSCA Nationals, what a great experience. As they say "every match is a battle".
We had two All-American's in the Junior 145 lb. 64 man bracket. Between Alex Bontz and Connor Middleton they defeated: 3Xer from New Mexico, 2Xer from Mass, NC State Champ, and two time placer from TX. In the All-American round, no match was won by more than 1 point. In earlier rounds, Connor lost to the National runner up by 1 pt. in O.T. and Alex lost to the National Champ 5-2 and 4th place finisher 5-2.
How about our 5A 105 lb. State Champ and runner-up wrestlers! Zac Gentzler and Javier Vieyra each placed 2nd in the sophomore and junior classes respectively!!!
