Thank you to everyone who made this such a great experience. Jonny had such a great time last year so we decided to tag along this weekend and are already looking forward to next year. Glad to meet some great kids/parents, watch some incredible wrestling and even had a blast working the table for our Bobcats. A special thanks to the Dads who stepped up to coach for their time and support: Trowbridge, Pappan, Lynn & Glover.
Pleasantly surprised to meet some exceptional referees - Russ Akren and John Patrick really stood out as having a love for the sport and the kids' best interest at heart. As we all know, not ALL the refs can be exceptional but one explained it well earlier today - "...that is a judgment call. A judgment call is an opinion and I am not perfect". Well said...

Just wanted to say thank you again to Dal and all the Bobcat coaches. What a weekend of fun! This was our last year and Allen had a great weekend and a great tournament going 6-2. How exciting it is to see boys from all over Kansas come together and cheer each other on as Team Kansas! I only hope my grandson will wrestle there next year so I can go back. I know it took a lot of time and effort organizing and getting this all together...again thanks for all you do for the boys of Kansas. I know the boys won't forget this weekend.

What a great weekend!!!! Great matches and a alot of fun!!! Definitely a neat change to have the "team" aspect in wrestling - loved the excitement and the enthusiasm from all the boys supporting their teammates!!
Had a great time meeting and visiting with other parents; what a great group!
Thank you to everyone for all their work with making this event a success!!!!
We will be moving on to middle school next year - definitely looking forward to that experience.

Thank you to Dal, and all the coaches for all your hardwork and commitment to kids wrestling. I know it was a great experience for Dylan. I also think it's great to bring these kids that are usually going against each other together to compete as a "team". Congratulations Team Kansas!!

I want to thank all the wrestlers, parents and coaches who helped with the duals. I hope everyone had fun.
I believe overall, the wrestling was tougher than it was last year with more teams and better wrestlers thru-out the weights. There were very few easy matches which is why we go. I expect it to continue to get tougher as more states send their teams.
I would like input from the parents as it pertains to hotels. The hotel we stayed at wants to raise our rate next year to $99.00 - it was $79.99 this year. I have not responded yet and of course I will try to negotiate that rate a little. I liked the hotel and area surrounding it. The 25 minute drive was easy with 4 lane highway almost all the way.
I have lots of t-shirts left for sale if anyone wants one. I have a couple singlets also.
Hope to see you all at the F/S Greco events this summer.

Dal, Thanks for including us again this year. Boo and Louis don't ever get on here, so I want to thank you on their behalf too. We looked forward to this event all year and it didn't disappoint. We were already talking about next year on the drive home....who's a 5th grader, how much will so-and-so weigh....that says it all. As for the hotel, I thought the commute was fine and the free "pepsi" machine was an added bonus! I'm fine with either hotel if you decide to go back to the one in Fremont.
Thanks, Kevin McCracken

Dal and all the coaches,
This was Riley's first and last year to go as he is a sixth grader. He had a blast and was excited to come home with a great experience and great new friends. He is still telling stories. Thanks again for making it so organized, easy for us parents who were dying at home because we couldn't be there, and giving the kids such a great life experience. Can't wait to get Cael going so we can come up too.
