Well, since McEachern is already ranked 3rd at 145 and will probably be ranked lower at 138, and Johns is ranked 1st at 138, it doesn't make since. There must be more to it than that. They might get snake bit on that deal.
Villers beat McEachern by 3 points at state, making it likely that Garrett gets the 4 ranking at 138. Johns v. Lemon or Johns v. Charbonneau/Williams? How well can Johns carry the weight? I expect Johns to make 138 at some point for Senior National qualification and to give himself choices at state. An interesting move to be sure.
