Isn't a recent head to head win the first "criteria" that is looked at when ranking wrestlers? The other loss that Girard has is to Whitson from Emporia (who Wilgers has beaten twice). Has Girard wrestled Mccray (from Heights)? I am just trying to understand how you make your decisions. Thanks.
When comparing just two wrestlers, head to head is the first criteria. When you add others to the mix it becomes tougher. As an example, if we were comparing McCray to Wilgers, McCray would be ranked higher. He has other losses that change that decision.
The bottom line here is that I received the criteria information AFTER the release of the KWCA 6A Rankings. As of now, after looking at all the criteria, I WOULD rank Wilgers ahead of Girard. We have wrestling action this weekend and the next release date is next Tuesday.
