My top 3 complaints
3. Crowd was dead - crowds fault
2. The 5 min walk of champions to the podium. Come on already, I have a life. - organizers fault
#1. We have a college in our state on the brink of a national championship. No updates on that but we announce a BASKETBALL score!!!! WHAT A INSULT!!!

Salina is no more centrally located than Wichita. If you look on a map you will see that it is about as close to Nebraska as Wichita to Oklahoma. Unfortunately if you want centrally there is nothing but farmland!!
I was at Salina and very displeased with cost of concessions but you have that in Wichita as well. No matter the venue. I am all for the 4, 5, 6A being combined again. I have heard 4A is the toughest class to be in and think it would add that much more back to the 5, 6A competition again.
I do have to complain about some of the student body of a certain nameless school. They were very rude and had to stand whenever their wrestler was out there, leaving us to not be able to see ours or a certain good match that might have been going on. They could very easily went just a few rows up and stood in nobody's way. We asked them numerous times to please sit down or move and a couple would most would not.
I say let's bring it back to Wichita with 5 & 6A for our monies worth and great wrestling!!!
If you first don't succeed, try try again.

[[i think it needs to be somewhere more centrally located like Emporia or Wichita]]
Let me guess: You're from Eastern Kansas. You can always tell when people think Emporia is centrally located.
Iam not saying that we have to have it somewhere in Emporia or wichita. Iam just trying to say the we need a smaller venue that will draw more people and have a better atmosphere such as a college or bigger high school.

Emporia is not centrally located last time I looked on a map. Salina is perfectly centrally located if distance is the main factor.

The price of admission might have played a factor. A family of five payed nearly $60 just to get into the building, then figure concessions and one day is well over a $100. Plus, you can watch the tournament from the comfort of home for free on television. Lastly, the schedule probably played a role.

Could have been worse. If what has been posted on here is correct, those attending 5A and 6A at Hartman paid $2.00 more per adult for admission than those in Salina.
