Scared is a harsh word. I can't imagine him being scared of Cisper. Tactical is probably a better adjective here.
What I really wanted to know is if he wrestled 189 most of the year, amassed a great record and just recently moved to 215.

After the 215 quit, it was discussed and the freshman we had at 189 just barely didn't qualify for state-freshman mistakes , we thought it was a win win situation. Jarrett has only wrestled Cisper once at state last year as a sophmore and he lasted the longest of anyone but was pinned, none the less. Did he move because of Cisper? No. Was the fact that Cisper was 189 a bonus? You do the math. I would like to see them wrestle actually, but that obviously won't happen as I believe Neil is a Sr. and Jarrett is a Jr. Maybe this summer in FS? We have the utmost respect for Cisper and wish him and all the other wrestlers good luck.

Congratulations to Logan Rutherford who made a good run at the 215 6A title and finished third after an overtime semi loss to Edison. It was a pleasure to coach such a smart and physical athlete. For a kid who wrestled only 40 or so high school matches in his career, he did an unbelievable job this weekend and stayed composed. What a monster double! Coach Sonderegger

To Coach Sonderegger:
Thank you for everything you have done for me in wrestling and personally. My wrestling experiences have been great and I will remember them always. I would not have been half the wrestler I was if I'd had a different coach.
To the other 215 Class 6A Wrestlers:
Great job this weekend. I had a great time and I think we wrestled very well.
To Lancer M:
Perhaps if you had behaved in a more masculine manner at the State Tournament last year, Coach Sonderegger would have been more inclined to thank you.
...yes I said yes I will Yes.

I'm still pretty sure I could take you though.

In the finals, I'm predicting a matchup between Prant Garker 2001-2002 and Jhris Cennings 2003-2004. As always, the match will go into double overtime.
MancerL will go two and out. You boys want to go at it, go at it this Thursday night in Buhler, of course you might be all talk. Come on now, the opportunity is thrown out and refs are going to be there.

All of us at Northwest know why Jarrett moved to 215. He is a LEADER and TEAM PLAYER. His team NEEDED him at 215 so that's what he did. It also gave Skyler (the 189 lb freshmen) the opportunity to wrestle some varsity. Jarrett is a great leader/wrestler/person and teammate. He is a great role model for the underclassmen as well. I would like to thank Jarrett for taking on the challenge and giving Skyler a chance to play some varsity. Hopefully next year he'll be more seasoned and make it to state.

Thanks, from one mom to another, that means alot to see someone actually notice what my boy did for the team. It was obvious at the state tourney that Jarrett was giving up quite a bit of weight but he still performed like a champion and took his loss like a champion. He received his 100th win at state as a Junior and will put on some weight for next year and tear up the 6A 215 bracket. He also received a beautiful 2nd place medal and the admiration of many. Thanks for all the love and support to all our friends, family and fans. Your presence at state did not go unnoticed. Ms. Jenni the mom of two state medalists look out world--here comes baby brother
