I am the worlds biggest homer. So I can tell you that I am going to pick with my heart instead of my brain.
125 McDonough Iowa 133 Oliver OSU 141 Maple OU 149 Parks OSU *emotional pick* 157 Dake Cornell 165 Taylor PSU 174 Perry OSU *I know it looks emotional, but I think he can beat anyone at that weight*
184 Wright PSU *I hate that I have picked this guy but this weight is up for grabs and he is a pinning machine*
197 Simaz Cornell *Really good weight this year* HWT Telford Iowa *Another one I hate to pick, but the #1 wrestles a pigtail match out of the gate and will get his first loss of the year in a fluke.*
Team PSU Too many guys in the finals and conso's

not picking many upsets here, though i know they will happen
McDonough (Iowa) over Sanders (Minn)- McD is big, real big Oliver (OkSt) over Steiber (OhSt)- Oliver on a role after early loss Russell (Mich) over Maple (OU)- going with gut instead of heart Molinaro (PSU) over Parks (OkSt)- maybe the two most exciting matches back to back (141-149) Dake (Corn) over Welch (NW) Taylor (PSU)- over Sorenson (ISU) Perry (OkSt) over Ruth (PSU)- Perry's intensity will prevail Steinhaus (Minn) over Hamlin (Lehigh)- Steinhaus upsets 3 for the title Simaz (Corn) over Honeycutt (Edinboro) Nelson (Minn) over Telford (Iowa)

Here's how I see going in the finals:
125 Matt McDonough (IOWA) over Alan Waters (MIZZ) 133 Jordan Oliver (OKST) over Logan Stieber (OSU) 141 Kellen Russell (MICH) over Kendric Maple (OKLA) 149 Jamal Parks (OKST) over Frank Molinaro (PSU) 157 Kyle Dake (CORN) over Jason Welch (NW) 165 David Taylor (PSU)over Shane Onufer (WYO) 174 Chris Perry (OKST) over Edward Ruth (PSU) 184 Joe LeBlanc (WYO) over Quentin Wright (PSU) 197 Cam Simaz (CORN) over Brent Haynes (MIZZ) 285 Ryan Flores (AMER) over Clayton Jack (ORST)
I think Penn State just racks up a ton of points and everyone else is wrestling for second.
Oklahoma State has a good chance of contending with their three heavy hitters and the couple of other potential All-Americans. If they hadn't lost their heavyweight to an injury before the national duals I think this would be the Cowboys tournament to lose.
Iowa, Mizzou, Cornell, and Wyoming will be the other teams to look out for. On a side note, Mark Branch has turned the Wyoming Cowboys into a power and it will really be interesting to see how that program evolves.

125-Mcdonough is just to good. No one can hang with him for the whole 7 minutes. 133-Oliver is the man to beat and after that controversial loss he took he has been on a rampage. 141-Maple is the man to beat in this weight. I think Russel will get upset by Steiber again. 149-I'm gonna go with Parks. Molinaro is a beast but he won't be able to hang with Parks athleticism. 157-No one will touch Dake. He has close matches all year but when he gets to the big dance he is basically untouchable. 165-David Taylor should win all his matches by atleast a major decision. No flukes this year. 174-Ruth is way to good for Perry or Amuchastegui this year. Another guy who should win by no less than a major in every match. 184-Wright is a guy just like Dake. He shows up to wrestle when its most important. 197-I have watched some matches of Honeycutt on Flo and he looked unstoppable to me. Simaz is a choker. 285-Rey is a big dude and I think he's ready to dominate everyone this weekend.

125 McDonough over Waters McDonough is too consistent
133 Steiber over Oliver -Heavily anticapated rematch but Steiber learns from the earlier match.
141 Russell over Maple Rusell was dominating and sharp at Big 10s. Don't miss the Maple vs Marion match in semis.
149 Molinaro over Parks - Molinaro is at another level this year and is nasty. Check out how ripped this guy is.
157 Dake over Welch (NW)- Dake is head and shoulders above this division.
165 Taylor over Sorenson (ISU)- This is the biggest lock.
174 Ruth over Amuchastegui- 3 undefeated wrestlers in this division but Ruth is most talented and Cael will have his head right.
185 Leblanc over Bennett (CMU)- Leblanc is beatable in this wide open division. But you got to like his consistency.
197- Honeycutt over Simaz- Honeycutt steps up here and pulls upset. Gonzalez from Illinois is potential bracket buster here.
285- Flores over Nelson- Both guys have amazing builds. Flores is more active.
Penn State should win this. They should have 3 champs. Also Wright, Wade and Alton should place and there 133 pounder has an outside shot at All- American.
2-5 will be Minnesota, Iowa, Cornell and OSU.

125 McDonough over Sanders - McDonough is too good for everyone. 133 Oliver over Stieber - SEE 125 141 Russell over Maple - I will be rooting for Maple, but lets not jinks it. 149 "Mini Hulk" Molinaro over Parks - Molinaro just gets after it way more than Parks. Hanging out hurts Parks in this match. 157 - Dake over Welch - Welch beats Johns from Iowa to get there, but nobody beats Dake. 165 - Taylor rolls overs Onufer - I think Evans from Iowa is the 2nd best in the weight right now but on the same side as Taylor. 174 - Ruth over Perry - Perry could do it. Ruth just too dominant to pick against. 184 - Wright over LeBlanc - Wright gets it done again. LeBlanc could easily get beat and not make finals. 197 - Honeycutt over Simaz - Honeycutt had wake up call 2 weeks ago. Gets it done. HWT - Flores over Nelson - This was tough to pick. Finals repeat in semis.
Would love nothing more than to see Penn State not win it.
Minnesota, Iowa, Penn State, Okie State

Just bragging, picked the top 5 in order. Also had 7 of 10 champions.

Kind of funnny OSU's took 5th & 6th. I guess I should of been more specific. I should have said "the" OSU. I have to admit that I thought the Cowboys would of took 5th. Cowboys definitely underperformed.

I was like you in my guesses, but had Iowa 5th. Of course, I expected some people to wrestle better (PARKS, PERRY, MORRISON)-and no way did i think StJohn would make a final. Really didnt think Marion would get there, either-I guess that is why they wrestle instead of giving points for seeds.
