Some observations today at Silver Lake...
3. St. James Academy made a statement. For all of those out there that questioned them being ranked so high in 5A, think again. Statements such as this are why I hold you in such low regard. You are attempting to validate your own opinion. Make no mistake, Saint James Academy has an outstanding head coach, a very good program and a very good team however your bloviating is nauseating.

Salyer, that was awesome. We all know Chief works hard on the rankings but he does have a blatant bias for SJA.

I also observed the Pratt kid from Bal. Seemed like a pretty tough competitor. I could not find him ranked anywhere. What is his story?

Some observations today at Silver Lake...
1. Congrats to Bryant Guillen. He was dominating in his 10-0 victory over 2nd ranked Trent Salsbury. Perhaps the 5A ranking coordinator had the 2nd ranked wrestler ranked too high. Who is that ranking coordinator? I am. Notice that the 3rd ranked wrestler at 5A/170 is Jared Langley who Salsbury beat last week at Garden City. Perhaps I have Trent ranked correctly.

Who is that ranking coordinator? He has him ranked second behind him. He has beaten the kids beneath him. What else is he supposed to do? I find this to be a stirring comment with no real substance. You are a smarter guy than that. Pick a fight somewhere else.

Read the All Class stream. No wonder you cannot play well with others. No one wants to play with you. Eric was soundly chastised for ranking SJA over Seaman when Seaman won the the Bobcat. For those who struggle with the concept of looking at the 5A only competition, this tournament validated the rankings. I like it when you bring value to the forum by revealing interesting news but your personality conflict with Mr. Johnson has worn me out. I like both of you and almost EVERYONE I know respects Eric's extensive contributions to Kansas wrestling with you being a boorish exception. I hope you didn't puke too much...

I hope you didn't puke too much... Why would I puke? I fully expected a reply from you defending your friend. Your allegiance is to be commended. Fortunately for you, I, and the ranker, due to the sacrifices of many to defend our right for free expression of speech, we are entitled to express our opinions.

What is your opinion? It seems to me it is only to discredit Eric Johnson.

Allow me to try and rationalize. I don't think there is any real issue with the ranking at 170lbs or any weight class for that matter. I can see someone having an issue with the comment quoted above by Chief. To me a ranker is viewed as a neutral third party of the information / data provided. This comment is not representative of someone being neutral. Yes, you can root for whomever or whatever you want. Just be prepared for a little flack when you are the ranker.

Thank you lazyman, that is exactly my point as well. And I think it's funny that certain people on here will call out somebody for trying to damage another person's reputation when they do it to people all the time.
