Im trying to figure out why STA is not ranked #1. Ark City has seven ranked wrestlers and STA has seven ranked wrestlers. Both have three ranked #1 and both have a wrestler ranked #2. Here is where STA should take the lead. Ark City has NO wrestlers ranked at #3, while STA has two ranked at #3. STA has one ranked at #4, and Ark City has two ranked at #4. Ark City rounds it out with one wrestler ranked at #5. By my calculations, STA will be the 5A State Champions. Someone please explain it to me if I am wrong.
lol. Is this the same Chad Beeson that has trumpeted the Ark City fight song all year? The scoring difference came down to single digits. Ark's non-placing members moved them slightly ahead. Perez, Biddle and Pink vs. STA's McCarthy.
