Unfortunately Prant does not wrestle for the Hat as he calls it. He is retired and laid his purple shoe’s to rest mat side.

To all those who hate witty banter:
Chill out! You guys are stressing out way too much about this. I think that Prant, Jhris, Shieber, and everyone else contribute very well to the forum as a whole. In fact, I wouldn't even read half of these topics and absorb/contribute information to them if it weren't for that fact that Prant or someone else had posted. I personally like to hear what they've said and, seeing as how this is a high school forum, he and all others should be able to say what they want. Notice that I said this is a high school forum, not to be confused with a boring old people forum. That is essential to the point I'm trying to make.
Plus, more of you should appreciate our immaculate use of the English language. Without us, the entire art of writing would slowly deteriorate to the point that no one would care, run-on's would prosper, and English teachers weren't appreciated. You don't hate English teachers, do you?

Plus you guys are ruining everyone's persective of a wrestler. They are mean and have no feeling. They aren't smart and they don't spend their free time talking about english. Your going to give wrestling a bad name with all this talk of english and wits.

Fan 125, feel free to criticize my spelling/grammar fixation when you stop spelling it "grammEr." Please forgive me for having a little fun with a former coach/buddy of mine. Next time I'll try to be more somber and depressed for you. But really, I'm sure Mill Valley is a fine school. If your son is interested in making history, he may have the opportunity to be the first state placer/champ for Olathe Northwest--a fine new building. I think Blue Valley West has a pretty good football program and is a nice school, but I'm not sure about their wrestling program. And finally, if you have the bucks, Aquinas has their fair share of talent in both sports. I will now go to my room and mope, knowing that I have caused fan 125 so much pain.

Since my use of capital letters has been questioned, I am going to explain their use in my last post. Capital letters in this case were used to denote distinction , as is proper when comparing specific distinguished objects, areas, or titles with common ones. Example: DISTINGUISHED ITEM COMMON ITEM God god Western Territories eastern terr. Hoxie, Norton, St. Francis manhattan President Bush el roberson
That should explain my use of capital letters that had appeared incorrect in the post-- it was simply a subtle bestowing of distinction on one area of the state over another. I did make a mistake by capitalizing prant but i did apparently precede it with the proper modifier. When I used to frequent the Kids wrestling scene, I used to be impressed with the slogan on the manhattan sweats: "respect all, fear none". apparently quite a few of you guys over there have outgrown those garments.

I think he was looking towards the far east of Kansas not the far West. Also Mike, most if not all the Manhattan guys still believe in the “Respect all, Fear none.” concept, sometimes their egos tend to get in the way. I think it’s a hormonal imbalance personally… This is really a fun loving bunch that take their mat time very seriously.

If he was involved with the Lansing club I am sure you know Brian Rees, one of Travic Keals teemates at Labette. I am sure Brian could give you some good advice.

It is my personal belief that you should send your son to the Olatha school that Cheeto Elsrode and Connor Fitzgerald go to (North, South, I can never remeber, there are so many). Good wrestling program, **** good football program, and East Kansas is probally the BEST club program in the entire midwest ( even though I hate to agree with anything Coach Luedke says).

Conor and Chino go to Olathe South which has a very good wrestling program. However, you mentioned football and in noting that sport you couldn't have been further from the truth. Olathe South is horrible (at football).
**Self Promotion** Olathe East has an up and coming program that will be very strong in the next couple of years and the football team, unlike Olathe South's, is also very good.

Hey, Olathe South was good during the "Dyer Era." Man, with Zach and Justin and quarterback they dominated everyone in the state...except Olathe North. Too bad for them I guess.

yes it is true olathe north is an exceptional football program and we will reign supreme again.
but the east side of the state is known for the more individual type wrestler, if you want a team title maybe you should go to a manhattan type school and look at all those wonderful 2nd place football titles they have there.
browning pitches to mack to on thunder right...wait mack is throwing it back to browning who doesn't have an indian close enough to shoot with a model 700 police issued tactical sniper rifle.... touchdown....manhattan only could mustard 54 total yards on offense

Like they said Olathe South is an ideal area to send a fresh new but talented kid. yr in yr out they always seem to bring in solid freshmen(shawn dedrick, adam almaguer) and develop guys w/ potential into studs (chino elsrode, conor fitzgerald).

What about St. Thomas Aquinas? They are one of the best High Schools in the state in both academics and athletics. Also, they have enough coaches to go around.

If he wrestled for Lansing in the past you should have to look no further. They have 4-5 Fr./So. as tough as any and will be a force in the next couple years. Averill is back and all those kids your son probably wrestled are now just moving to high school, 2 Flynn's, 2 Bueller's, Grape, and several others.
Why would you not go back there?

What have you been smokin' Rocknraider. Dedrick is mediocre. Saw Almaguer get Dog-slapped by his girlfriend at the Classic. Saw Fitz get tilted by an old bald-headed guy this summer. And saw Cheeto give up a 5 throw in freestyle to his 9 year-old little brother at an East Kansas practice. Now honestly you need to leave that stuff alone.

East Kansas doesn't have a kids wrestling program during the season this year - but I have heard that after the high school season they may start their program back up - I guess no one was interested in taking over the kids club after Kevin left.

cntsdad are you crazy. That bald-headed old man has been tilting people for a long time. There is a big heavyweight living in my house that I let tilt me on occasion. All kidding aside Olathe South is a great place to send a young man because Coach Mesa is going help keep a great program growing.
