Excluding Capul, how many of the freshmen listed here will wrestle above 132 this year?
Did you see that Eckenbacherswartzendruber?

Finally, Travis has hit it on the head! What division are they gonna be1/2/3, 4a, 5a, 6a? And what weight? Lots and lots of quality boys moving up but what weight and what division? All are young and looking to do well, but, can they handle the upper class men? Time will tell. Impact? Start the list of which CLASS, they will fall under. Not everyone listed, is in the same division.

My top 7 would be: Anthony Capul-a beast of a freshman, he has won a lot of big tournaments and really showed himself at folkstyle nationals Kendall Frame-Almost went undefeated at Schoolboy Duals and won Folkstyle Nationals, in the past he has won Tulsa as well. Will be in 6A could potentially meet up with Deshazer. Paul Stuart-He has done very well with I believe 3 kids state titles in a row and has been on many dual teams I have coached and has rarely lost on any of them. In 5A could run into some guns if he is at 113. Clay Lautt-He was a folkstyle national runner-up and has wins over Frame. He has also won 3 state titles I beleive as well. He is extremely strong and aggressive. In 5A with a projected weight of 125-130. Might run into some guns their as well. Corbin Nirschl-He dominated at Kids state and he had 7 wins at Cadet Duals coupled with his wins over Rosen at Southern Plains. He will be huge at 106. Thomas Lisher-When he is on, he is on. He won kids state with the likes of Maki, Pemberton, Kester, Joint and Delforge. Mason Wallace-He is another kid when he is on, he is on. He beat Pool in the state finals last year that knocked of Kendall Frame.
Now this is a list I can honestly say is full of impact freshmen. I still like the other 5 guys on my list and think they will score points if not place at State. Will had some good arguments for his two guys to place as well. I sure like a list of these 14 compared to a list of 40 or so.

I am not sure if they will be freshman, but the three below guys I was really impressed with at Middle School State, along with a few our own Dodge City kids. These three are all middle weights.
Daniel Butler - Leavenworth Jesse Nunez - Garden City Ayrus Jones - Junction City
Thanks,

Dultmeier from Silver Lake. If he continues to wrestle as he has been, he will win 113# 321A state.

I think Dalton Hensley from Ellis will make some noise at 321A state. He is wrestling well this year.

Monti enriquez 120lb Eudora freshman has 25 wins and will make it to state. I'm not partial or anything. Haha! I see a lot of kids on this list should make a impact at state.

Looks like the list is pretty darn close. As far as qualifiers. @70% made it through, if my math is right, ( may have missed a couple) With at least 15 making the finals. This is one tough group of freshman, good luck at State to all, you've proven to us all you've earned it.

What about Norton's BIG man Jacob Green ranked #2 in the state at 220 being at an upper weight like that and wrestling mostly juniors and seniors am having a 32-7 record and his only losses are to ranked wrestlers

REGIONAL CHAMPS
Logan Treaster - Newton Shane Brock – Wichita Northwest Mason Wallace – Manhattan Corbin Nirschl-Basehor Kendall Frame-Goddard Tristan Porsch-Hoxie Paul Stuart - Andover Gary Joint - junction city Tyler Flood – Paola Colby Johnson – Burlington Tate Carney – Colby
STATE QUALIFIERS Brody Roberson – Newton Daniel Butler – Leavenworth Tanner Hitchcock-Pitsburg Thomas Lisher-Baldwin Kameron Frame-Goddard Tyler Price-Holton Zach Eck-Andale Nathan Fowler-Derby Anthony Scantlin-Mulvane Lane Glover-Goddard Jack Maki - Andover Will Spexarth -Goddard Conner Murphy - Carroll Zachary Grantham - Maize High Dacota Motter- El Dorado Brock Budke – Lansing Jonathon Ball – Hoisington Sammy Cokeley - SJA Clay Lautt – SJA Thomas Lisher – Baldwin Jesse Nunez - Garden City Ayrus Jones - Junction City Dalton Dultmeier - Silver Lake
NON QUALIFIERS Anthony Capul – Andale - Injured Boo Dryden – Campus - 8th grader, ?? Carter Guyer – Andover Kai Perez-Garden City - 8th grader, not sure who listed him Dylan Gowin-Mill Valley - JV
92% qualified for state. I think the agreed upon definition for impact freshman was one who scores team points at state. 34 of these wrestlers can do that this weekend. I am counting on the 11 regional champs to do so! This is one tough freshman class. I think 4A 106 is very deep with talent as is 5A.

I think Shane Brock is a sophomore. To the best of my knowledge, you are correct. Garrett lost to him and Moses at Newton in 1 point matches. These young guys just keep getting better every year. Last year, Garrett's State bracket had four Freshman finish 1-4.

Shane Brock is now at Wichita Northwest. A nice addition for Coach Prichard. Every year those guys re-load and compete! This was in the post earlier so I just took his name from the stream. Chief!
