Maybe this question has come up before and I just missed it. How do four freshmen at the 106# class get ranked over 2 of last years state qualifiers? I have watched 5 of the top 6 wrestle. I know my opinion doesnt matter, but i would have the upper classmen 1 and 2. I watched this class very close last year. No. 5 and 6 are very tough competitors even against some of the ranked 113#ers, as they wrestled at that weight at Kids State last year. I am not positive, but I dont think there were any head to head matches last year between the freshmen and the upperclassman. Just curious.
It's a good point Tyson. #5 could definitely be ranked higher. #6 lost to a good 8th grader but also wrestled Mainus very close and had one win over Pemberton. 106 is always the exception with the freshmen. This group is especially deep and talented. I respect your knowledge at this weight and welcome a PM or text from you.
