Im curious as to what criteria Mies has over Ellis. Ellis took 3rd last year at 145 and Mies took 3rd at 120. It would make since to me that the upper hand might go to the wrestler returning from the heavier weight, if there is no other outstanding criteria one has over the other.
Good question. Mies is a 3x placer and 2x finalist. He is also a Junior Folkstyle AA at 138. Tyler is moving up in weight well. He went 4-0 in FS at the Junior Duals. They have both been on my traveling teams and in my opinion Mies has the edge. You also have to love Jake's positive attitude and work ethic. I expect both to have really strong years.
