Im thinking the under classmen from last year faced the likes of Geary and Butler and have the losts on their records. How would those 220 wrestlers faired and is that an accurate comparison. Seems like wrestlers moving up would have to.prove themselves at the higher weight over wrestlers who wrested those guys. Bastian Jones Fuller Zeller who all have losses on. Their records sometimes 2 or 3. To top placers. Thanks

Thanks for chiming in. On the surface it seems logical but a closer look reveals that the new top three made up of last year's 220 guys are the ones to beat. Zeller might have the best argument and Zook only lost to Zeller in OT. Justin Scott is a multiple placer and ran the table undefeated last year, pinning his way through the state bracket, while beating a Fargo AA in Denver. Toelkes placed 3rd last year and wrestled FS/GR on national teams for multiple years. Gallegos is a multiple state placer and a Fargo AA. History has shown that successful 220's with speed on their feet have fared well at 285. Zeller, Zook, Helms and Bastian are definitely in the discussion. Jones will be ranked high in 6A.
