Not really... You have to take into consideration lots of factors not just throw down a few statements and call it good. For example, being an AA at Fargo doesn't always mean something. You have to ask the tough questions: What weight? Cadet? Junior? Greco? Freestyle? How many were in the bracket? Who were his opponents? You can't just seed someone based on criteria. Sometimes coaches "KNOW" who is better but for selfish reasons argue based on OBJECTIVE statements when there is much more to the situation. I really don't like using the placement at the same tournament the year before as a high level criteria. Who was in the bracket? How many weight classes did he move up? Was he bumping up the year before for competition? The number one criteria should ALWAYS be state placement because winning state should be everyone's number one goal. Then you can ask some tough questions there too. Seeding cannot be objective when you mix classes, states, and different competition or strength of schedules.
