There are a lot things to consider that only the poster may know first hand. Was the wrestler always great in Kids' Fed, or were they just pretty darn good. How tough was their schedule throughout their high school career, who did they wrestle, how many times did they battle injuries or illnesses and still get out on the mat to compete, how many losses were by 3, 2, 1 point(s)?
I am hopeful that my son makes it to 100 and he is within reach. He was a pretty darn good wrestler in Kids' Fed but only made it to Kids' State twice, his high school has always wrestled a tough schedule, he has wrestled a laundry list of some of the best in the state, he has wrestled through a couple of injuries and at least a hand full of times that he was getting over an illness, and he has lost quite a few matches to solid competition by a few points or less. I will post a congrats to him on the forum when he makes it to 100 and I will be proud of him just as much if he falls a win or two short of that number. I know what he has accomplished and I know how far he has come.
