Tanner Kriss had a very dominant senior season. I think he scored bonus points in every match all year except his State finals match, which he won by 7 points. That included a major over Caylor in the Finals of the Newton TOC. He wrapped up his senior season with a fall over Boaz Beard in the Senior Classic.
Colby had another undefeated state champ on that team in Breck Arnberger. Arnberger had a few closer matches that year than Kriss, but did have a convincing win over Chase Nelson in the finals of the Newton TOC.

I always thought this was pretty impressive as well as the young mans last 2 seasons. Wrestler's junior year he wrestled a total 4 minutes 59 seconds in 4 state tournament matches. http://www.usawks.com/HighSchool/2004/6a-171.pdf

Here's some names to consider from my neck of the woods:
Shawn Bunch, Leavenworth: 4x state finalist, 2x Champ, 2x NCAA All American and National Finalist.
Aaron Ely, Leavenworth: 4x state placer, 2x Champ.
Nathan Butler, Leavenworth: 4x state placer, 3x Champ, 44-0 with 39 pins his senior year.
Bo Pursel, Lansing: 4x State Champion, enough said.
Spencer Blew, Lansing: 3x state placer, 2x Champ (lost his senior year to a guy named Weigel from Hays)
I'm sure there are others, but these guys came to mind this morning while looking through this thread.
Awesome topic!

Was this post supposed to be greatest Kansas wrestler ever, most dominant KS wrestler in HS, or just some KS wrestlers that had a great season? Melvin Douglas, Eric Akin, Shawn Bunch, Eric Luedke, Temoer Terry, Jacob Klein, David Ray, Joe Johnston, Tanner Gardner, Kendric Maple, ??? They are all in the first conversation. Doug Duell, Bo Maynes and Todd Layton are in the second.
