Turner did put it to SH in the finals (51-24), but SH was not at full strength. Shane Reedy didnt make weight. Malloy hasnt got down to 171 either. Jackson Waechter(125) is also out with an injury. As a dual team I definitely agree that Turner has an edge on Shawnee Heights, but state isnt a dual.

If you remember Kapaun Mount Carmel over the past 3 or 4 years you will see that they were a mediocre dual team but always placed top 4 or 5 in state. That is becuase they had 2 or 3 champs each year and a couple other placers. That is all you need to place top 3 or 4. I see Shawnee Heights being a team like that this year. They have 3 or 4 kids who could win state (Gardner, Hart, Reedy, Malloy) and definitely will place high, and 2 or 3 other that will probably place (Crossen, Waechter, Maddox, Tast). It will be interesting to see how they end up this year.
