As I already posted, Garrett went 103-60 (32 at 103, 25 at 120/113, 24 at 126 and 22 at 132).
His sophomore year he started 4-9 wrestling up a weight class at the start of the season (with losses to Dallas Vesta 2-9, Chandler Gordon by Fall, Isaac Dulgarian 10-25, Tyler Sharp 0-1, Cullen Hood 1-2, Clayton Himple 1-14, Kaleb Konitzer 0-4 and Willie Dieckman 2-9). He dropped to 113 and finished out the year winning 21 and losing 10 (with losses to Javier Vieyra 0-1 in 3OT, Garrett Whitson 0-2 in OT, Jacob Wilders 0-2, Marco Perez 1-2, PJ Chaney 1-9, Nick Haug x2 2-7 and 1-4, Alex Garcia 4-7 and Armond McCray 3-4).
My point is, his freshmen year he did have an easier schedule but he still wrestled solid competition and had some great wins against very good opponents. I know the competition he faced and I know how many close losses, and wins, he had against quality wrestlers. He was pinned 5 times in 163 matches with only one of those being by a wrestler he should have beat but he got caught.
I am sure that there are plenty of other wrestlers who barely got to 100 but were so close to getting to 125-130, or more. You have to know more about each wrestler than just the number of wins versus losses they had.
