Noticed that at 160 you have 2 wrestlers ranked from same school?

Those guys are switching weights and I was reaching for another rankable guy there...

So why not rank them at their respective weights? There are 32 6A teams im guessing at least 30 have 160 pounders.

I need you to reason with me here about the 6A rankings...

1. Look at the 6A rankings.
2. Post here or call me about any criteria that would move up a Colt in the rankings.

Let's just take WNW as an example. They placed 2nd behind your team by a large margin. They currently have 6 ranked 6A guys, HC has 3. At 113, 120 and 126, is there any criteria to move those three up? I see that Bowen had a strong win over Murphy and he is definitely on the radar at 138. I also hear that Brycen was up in that 132 semi when the DQ happened? Let me know on that. Do any of the other 5 placers you had at this tournament have any criteria to move them up?I would be glad to walk through every weight in 6A with you. Call me at 913-484-3624.

Clearly the Colts are on the move and I will continue to keep a close eye on any match that will give them criteria to ascend in the rankings!

Where is Sprague on the rankings? 220 seems to have been shaken up a bit (unranked Sprague winning it, No3 Easterwood taking 2nd, and No1 Johnson taking 4th..?)

You have to look at the Big picture. If the colts don't deserve to be ranked then neither does the teams they beat in the tournament. Remember it is also a TEAM tournament. Every point counts as does every win. I have seen teams Win tournaments in the past with almost everyone placing out the back side. It doesn't always work in your favor to go by how many are ranked individually. You previously made the statement that its team scoring in tournaments not dual tournaments.

The Big picture is the 6A state tournament.




That makes zero sense. You had six guys place at that tournament that are not likely to place at the 6A state tournament. The other teams champions will likely place very high at state. You get that part, right?




I have ranked the weights six deep. Those ranked third through sixth have "placed out the back side". At the end of the tournament, those wrestlers that have placed, score points for their placing. So you see, it actually DOES work in my favor to go by how many wrestlers are ranked individually. You get the team scoring part, right?

Having said all that, the Colts certainly have the talent to rise up as the season goes on. It would not surprise me if they do place much higher as a team at state. It's just as of last weeks ranking, they had no direct criteria to move them higher.

So, think this through. The top six placers at state score the majority of points for their team. I also add additional points for non placers that will likely score. Look at each weight class and post on this thread, or call me if you have any criteria that would change the rankings.

How do you know they aren't likely to place? They are currently winning. You had 2 guys at the same school ranked in the same Weight. That is super biased. Can you post your criteria? All I see is "well this guy would PROBABLY place higher, can we rank kids on what they are currently doing and not what they have done in years past? At one point in some Kansas rankings, I saw losing records... I'm sure they are over .500 now, however.... You get my point.
