Every year we encourage all of the Kansas Freestyle and Greco Roman wrestlers to attend as many of the training and competition events listed above. The cost to attend the USA Wrestling Freestyle and Greco Roman Nationals will start at $850 for round trip transportation, training camp, dormitory lodging, meals, gear and entry fees. If you do not meet a single one of the criteria above then your cost will be $850. You can earn up to $300 of credits by attending any of the list of the above opportunities. For example: 8 RTC Practices, Place in the top 3 at the Southern Plains Regional, place in top 3 at Northern Plains Regional, Member of the Cadet Dual team. That would give you a total of $300 credits lowering your cost for “Fargo” to $550.

At the end of the tournament do they ride the charter bus back and what is the pick-up point? We will have vans for those who need rides.

We would like to know ASAP whether you will be riding back with someone else or on a Team KS bus.


If they have family at Fargo can they ride home with them? YES

Will there be supervision while at Fargo and are they on their own for meals? We will have a staff of coaches assigned to the athletes. They will be staying in the dorms and will be on a meal plan included in the cost.

MORE QUESTIONS:

We are getting the funds together to send our wrestler to Fargo. Is it all right to send the full amount with him to camp on the 12th instead of sending the deposit now? YES

Also, do the kids get a ride back from Fargo or do we have to go up and get them? Team KS will provide rides home but we need to know ASAP.

One more thing, what are the dates they will be gone? Report to camp July 12th could return as early as July 20th (if you are a Cadet that has been eliminated from Freestyle) or as late as July 23rd if you are a Junior All American!
