You didn't answer my question " Why are all high school regionals held at the same time?"
Because they are under time constraints which we don't have. This much you can be sure of, it's not to prevent one kid having an advantage. They are required to wrestle with their school in an assigned regional.
Actually it does have to do with preventing an advantage. That has been an open discussion for some time and I would have to go back and look at the handbook sent to teams hosting Regional tournaments but if I recall correctly when we hosted it said you had to have permission from KSHAA to modify the time schedule. They don't want someone at another regional looking on track and then altering the outcome of their placement if it fits them better at state.
