Registration: Cost is $30.00 if preregister on trackwrestling.com by February 25th, late/walk up registration is $40. All onsite payment is cash or charge cards only NO CHECKS. USA Wrestling folkstyle membership is required, please have card present at weigh ins.
Schedule: onsite only registration and weigh-ins 8:00-8:30am. Weigh in with a competition singlet. FREE WRESTLING CLINIC from 9am until wrestling is about to begin, all kids welcome to attend the clinic. Group photo and National Anthem before wrestling will begin. Break for officials as needed.
Divisions:
Elementary Grades K-5 periods 1/1/1 Weights: Madison Weights
Middle School Grades 6-8 periods 1.5/1.5/1.5 Weights: Madison Weights
High School Grades 9-12 periods 2/2/2 Weights: 106, 113, 120, 126, 138, 145, 152, 160, 170, 182, 195, 220, 285 Plus 2 lbs allowance
Charts: This tournament is a round robin event. Round Robin is for the intention is to get each wrestler a lot of quality matches. We have Novice (first or second year wrestling) and Open ( more than two years wrestling) in registration to separate newer from advanced wrestlers but numbers will determine if we can keep them apart.
Awards: Every wrestler will receive a medal
Rules: Folkstyle High School rules with USA Wrestling Folkstyle guidelines. Hairnets optional for all ages in girls event.
Coaching: NO Coaches Membership will be required. Two coaches per-corner maximum.
Admissions: Free to all. Thank you to all that support this event.
Concessions: Provided, no coolers or crockpots will be allowed into the building.
