It seems to me that out of your entire list of ten how is that you come to state that 1 person carries a team? A team carries itself, teamwork wins championships. Ross winning a state championship would not in itself win the 4a team title, therefore I found your post erronous. Perhaps if you had phrased it like "a few studs lead by Taplin" it would have been acceptable. In any case, that is MY opinion. As for the topic at hand, I really don't like getting sucked into debates about what are the best teams in the state, as i've mentioned before there are great dual teams and there are great tournament teams, sometimes one team can be both. But most of the time these teams on most peoples top 10 won't all meet each other.

I believe that Goodland should be on the list, I think that they are better than the score of their dual with Norton shows if Cowan is healthy at 189 that would have been a tighter score!

Manhattan, althought not blessed with my raw wrestling ability, is still a competitive team this year. They might not have more talent than last years state championship team, but they have a few that will place high and score a lot of points. Watch out for Catt Mox because I plan on showing him a few moves, which will most likely guarantee a medal. The moves could possibly be for wrestling, or eating Taco Bell. We'll see what he decides to pick up the best.

I THINK GOODLAND SHOULD BE THERE IN TOP FIVE, AT THE HOLIDAY CLASSIC THEY LOST 42-25 TO NORTON BUT THEIR 189 POUNDER IS OUT WITH A BROKEN LEG AND HE WOULD HAVE PINNED NORTONS 189 POUNDER AND ALSO THEIR 140 POUNDER WASN'T THEIR, SO THEY FORFEITED AT 140, SO DO THE MATH IF THOSE TWO VARSITY WRESTLERS WOULD HAVE WRESTLED GOODLAND WINS THE DUAL 34-30 OR AT WORST THEY LOSE 33-31,NO DOUBT NORTON IS GOOD BUT GOODLAND CAN HOLD IT'S OWN.
