why is it that every time a great wrestler gets put on his back people have to make such a big deal of it.just b/c he was on his back 1 time during the year doesn't mean that he won't win state again. nobody makes a big deal when an average wrestler gets put on his back, whats the difference.

Hey what I always like when these things happen, is listening to all the fans of the underdog wrestler. They all get so excited they pee down their legs and will swear the other guy (in this case Gardner) was pinned and the ref screwed them. And then of course after the match, (after Gardner decided to whoop *** ) all the West fans would say is how they should have got the pin!! Freaking Hilarious!! Gardner is probably the most dominant wrestler in any class and weight this year, and to top it off he is a great kid with a bright future.

Ok lets get one thing straight here, as a coach at TW I do not think that Binns was screwed. Was I happy to see one of my wrestlers put an incredible wrestler like Tanner on his back, yes I was. There are more than one guys out there that never came that close with Tanner.
I talked to Tanner an hour after the match and asked him what happened and he said he just caught me. I made a move and he caught me. Both of the wrestlers involved here Crawford Binns and Tanner Gardner are outstanding indviduals who should both hold there heads high. Tanner for being the outstanding wrestler and person that he is and Binns for having enough heart to push himself to the limit and wrestle one of his better matches of the season.
Yes Tanner pinned him but I would lay odds they both walked off proud of their accomplishments. I was proud of them both.
